Health
The importance of maintaining good health and avoiding sexually transmitted diseases cannot be ignored.
Whereas this site does not provide advice on health as a result of sexual activity, there are many other sites that do provide good advice such as the Terrence Higgins Trust (UK).
But
If at least one of the partners in marriage or any other relationship is having contact with other people, it is most strongly recommended that
- You both know about it, and
- You both decide whether testing for sexually transmitted diseases is necessary. This is not the decision of one partner alone, without the knowledge of the other.
If you have any doubts, look at the results of the Questionnaires whcih show that only 50% of active men claim always to practice safe sex. The results for active women are not appreciably different. The reality is that there is no such thing as 100% guaranteed safe sex. There is always a risk attached to it.
Failure by the active partner not to tell the other partner about their extramarital activities leaves the other partner exposed to health risks without their knowledge.
