They are also for their spouses, partners or girlfriends / boy friends, to help them understand what might be going on. These are typically same sex attractions and mixed orientation relationships or marriage.

The importance of maintaining good health and avoiding sexually transmitted diseases cannot be ignored.

If you have any doubts, look at the results of the Questionnaires whcih show that only 50% of active men claim always to practice safe sex. The results for active women are not appreciably different. The reality is that there is no such thing as 100% guaranteed safe sex. There is always a risk attached to it.

Failure by the active partner not to tell the other partner about their extramarital activities leaves the other partner exposed to health risks without their knowledge.
