Privacy Statement

General

This site protects the privacy of anyone who visits it or communicates with it, whether through the information that visitors provide to the Questionnaires, or through contacts made with the author of the site.

In summary:

	There is no means to identify individuals who visit the Married Gay site and both in respect of the contact page and the questionnaires, individuals are at liberty not to disclose who they really are
	No personal information is collected other than what is necessary for the exchange of messages between visitors to the site and the author, limited to name and email address (both given by the visitor).
	Some geographical information on where contact is made from is collected, country, state and town - this information is not sufficient for a visitor to be recognised and there is no means for contacting the visitor through this information. The geographical information is important when identifying where people are contacting from, countries exceeding 125 in number.
	Names and email addresses will only be passed to third parties with the express permission of the visitors themselves

Questionnaires

The responses to questionnaires carry no personal information unless the contributors themselves have provided it. There are sections within the questionnaires where private information can be provided optionally and where it is indicated clearly that such information will not be published. This information is never divulged to third parties.

The purpose of the questionnaires is to two fold:

	To provide help to individuals who need an opportunity to think about their present situations and to be able to write down (and possibly work out) situations / issues that are affecting them
	To obtain information that can enable others to understand the complexities associated with sexuality, for review purposes and to establish patterns if any, to enable a better understanding of mankind to be established.

It is possible at some stage in the future that other researchers will be invited to review the results and responses to the questionnaires. This will be done in such a manner that privacy as laid down in this statement is maintained at all times.

The author of this site reserves the right to use the information gathered to extend our understanding of mankind, maintaining privacy as laid down in this statement at all times.
